At the KMAI, we like to emphasize that we practice the traditional Chang-Hun style of TaeKwon-Do... but, what exactly is "traditional" or "Chang-Hun", or "TaeKwon-Do" for that matter? Where on Earth did it all begin? What caused the great dynasties to grow and prosper, only then to crumble? Who lived only one lifetime but whose heroics became an inspiration that has survived for centuries? For the most part, history is able to provide these answers.
 
Put simply, history helps us appreciate the art we practice today.
 
For each KMAI promotional examination, students are administered a history quiz. Below are the quizzes for each rank.
