Explanation of the ITA logo

 

 

The Yin and Yang symbolizes the harmony of the two opposites: fire and water. Also, that TaeKwon-Do is both a Hard and Soft art which compliments the movements of an opponent.

 

The USA insignia represents where the ITA was founded.

 

The fist signifies strength, unity, and determination.

 

The globe represents the expansion of the ITA to unify TaeKwon-Do practitioners throughout the world.

 

The colors used in the logo (white, yellow, green, blue, red and black) are the colors of the belts in the TaeKwon-Do ranking system.
